My entrepreneur journey began in 2009, when I left a longtime public relations career at a water district to become an entrepreneur.

I started by creating storybooks for small businesses, which led me into virtual assistance for professional speakers, coaches, and creatives. Over the years, I supported event planners, lawyers, balloon designers, marketing firms, and many other small businesses. Through that work, I discovered how much I enjoyed helping people take what they had already created and put it to good use.

In 2013, I followed another dream and launched DJ Mandy Mixes, turning my love of music and connection into a mobile DJ business. For several years, I balanced both worlds, supporting clients during the day and spinning music at events in the evenings.

By 2019, my DJ business was booming, so I decided to step away from my virtual assistance work and focus on DJing full time. It was an exciting season, and I loved being part of weddings, celebrations, community events, and other meaningful moments.

Then 2020 hit, and the entertainment industry came to a halt.

With more time at home, I returned to something that had always brought me joy: creative online work, organization, and helping small businesses feel more confident about the tools and systems they use. That chapter brought Mandolyn Designs back into focus as a creative and practical online services studio.

Today, I help small-business owners, entrepreneurs, service providers, creatives, and personal brands put their existing ideas, content, services, and visual materials to work online.
